Debbie Loflin

Debby has brought her luxurious handmade leather handbags and accessories to the Lakeside Artists Studio Tour for the last few years, but she is debuting an exciting new artform this year. Debby is transforming vintage silver plated pieces into enchanting birdfeeders. Each unique find is mounted on a copper pole and adorned with sculpted copper vines and hand cut leaves. Each unique, signed, dated, and numbered piece can be used as a birdfeeder, planter, or simply as joyful garden art.

Rick Luttrell

Rick Luttrell established his ceramic studio on Lake Norman in 2015 following an accomplished 45-year career as a classroom teacher of advanced mathematics. He features a variety of wheel thrown stoneware in a wide selection of natural clay and glaze colors. His favorite forms are bowls, jars, and lidded vessels as well as an extensive line of platters. He enjoys developing different designs, and his artistic work includes hand painted and carved pieces whose variations make each piece an individual work of art.
