Judy Riley
Judy Riley is a studio potter who lives and works in Mooresville NC and also in Vermilion, OH in the summer. She has a degree in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University and enjoyed a career of designing products while employed by GE, Timex, Moen and other Corporations. Judy discovered the world of ceramics after hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2015 and enjoys exploring functional and fun pottery techniques. She is inspired by early and current pottery and also forms and patterns in the natural world.
Jessica Bedson
Jess is an accomplished artist who is joining the tour to share her woodwork, paintings and hand-crafted jewelry. She has an extensive background in teaching early childhood art education, as well as working with the older adult population. She is currently employed as an art therapist, helping devise and administer meaningful creative arts programs, as well as leisure activities. Jess is passionate about helping others and using creative expression to promote overall well being and positive mental health.
